Jaeger-LeCoultre, renowned for its timeless style, mechanical sophistication, and innovative approach to watchmaking, proudly introduces a captivating addition to its esteemed Master Control collection in 2023.
The new Master Control Chronograph Calendar in pink gold with a black dial showcases the Maison's unwavering commitment to excellence, combining tradition and contemporary aesthetics.
Inspired by the Maison's rich heritage, the Master Control collection draws inspiration from the iconic round watches of the 1950s and '60s, including the Memovox and Futurematic. The Master Control Chronograph Calendar pays homage to the vintage appeal of colored watch dials from the mid-20th century while presenting a confidently modern interpretation.

The clean and modern lines of the case harmoniously anchor the design, with refined details highlighting the chronograph and calendar displays. The pulsometric scale, marked in red, frames the dial, reminiscent of a traditional indication used by physicians to measure heart rates. The vibrant red accents on the sub-dials and day/month windows add a touch of dynamism to the valuable information displayed.
Despite the complexity of the information shown, the dial layout remains timeless, straightforward, and intuitive to read. The balanced indications for the complete calendar and bi-compax chronograph are complemented by the finely textured 'azurage' finish on the sub-dials and the rich blue hue of the moon-phase indicator. The sunray-brushed black dial captivates and reflects light with each movement of the wearer's wrist, enhancing legibility along with the warm pink gold Dauphine hands and applied trapezoidal indexes.

The pink gold Master Control case, measuring 40 millimeters in diameter, exudes a relaxed and understated elegance with its outwardly sloping bezel and dynamically curved lugs. Satin-brushing on the case-sides and lugs is skillfully combined with polished bezels, crowns, and lug bevels, adding refined details to the design. Rectangular chronograph pushers bring a purposeful and modern touch to the well-proportioned 12.05mm thick case, while the black alligator leather strap further enhances the classic elegance that has been cherished across generations.
At the heart of the Master Control Chronograph Calendar beats the automatic Calibre 759, showcasing Jaeger-LeCoultre's technical sophistication and mechanical elegance. This integrated chronograph movement boasts a column-wheel mechanism with a vertical clutch, coupled with a triple calendar and moon-phase display, delivering a remarkable 65-hour power reserve. The intricate finishing, visible through the sapphire crystal case-back, features Côtes de Genève, blued screws, and the iconic open-worked gold rotor bearing the 'JL' motif—a testament to Jaeger-LeCoultre's expertise and craftsmanship.
