The first ever winners of the newly introduced Luxury Watch of the Year category were Lang & Heyne. Impressing judges with the materials used to manufacture the luxury timepiece, as well as its movement and outstanding craftsmanship, was their Lang & Heyne Anton Manufaktur Edition.
Founded in 2001 by Marco Lang and Mirko Heyne, and renowned for producing typically Saxon watches, the original Anton model was released in 2018 and was named in honour of Anton the Kind, a 19th Century Saxon ruler. With a renewed, modern look, the Manufaktur Edition of the model was re-introduced in Winter 2023 complete with 40mm x 32mm platinum case, three-lug design and a large onion crown decorated with cabochon-cut black onyx.
