Sinn Spezialuhren is proud to announce that the Sinn 903 St II has been awarded “Watch of the Year” 2025 by Armbanduhren, one of Germany’s most respected watch magazines. Voted for directly by its readers, this accolade highlights not only the technical excellence of the 903 St II but also the deep respect it commands among watch enthusiasts around the world.
For collectors and connoisseurs alike, the result confirms what many already knew: the great classics of watchmaking have lost none of their fascination over the decades. The 903 St II embodies this perfectly, drawing on a century of aviation tradition and evolving it for the modern wrist.

Pilots were, after all, the reason men began wearing watches on their wrists rather than keeping them in their pockets — a practical necessity that demanded clear legibility without ever letting go of the controls. Throughout the 20th century, the pilot’s watch evolved to include features essential for navigation and safety, and the latest iteration of the Sinn 903, the St II, continues that legacy with the technical improvements today’s wearers expect.
Featuring a chronograph complication as well as a 4:30 date window and a slide rule bezel with logarithmic scale, this watch provides its wearer with all the essential information for navigating the skies. You are able to calculate fuel consumption; distance travelled and navigate with just a glance at your wrist.

Powered by the La Joux Perret L110, a column wheel chronograph chosen by many brands for its accuracy and reliability, it is also antimagnetic to avoid having the accuracy affected by instruments in the cockpit. The movement is capable of running for 60-hours when fully found and has an automatic rotor. Housed within a 41mm case that has an impressive 200 meters of water resistance, a hallmark of Sinn’s engineering capabilities, this is a chronograph built to fit anyone and go anywhere.
The sapphire crystal is coated with anti-reflective material to ensure legibility in all light conditions as well as being secured against sudden decreases in pressure that may be experienced during an aerial incident.
The tri-compax configuration of the dials, combined with their silver-electroplated colouring enhance the classic design language of the navigation chronograph. The dial is complex but easy to read making it a fascinating but functional instrument.

Night time legibility is aided by a hybrid ceramic luminescent material that is applied to the hands and indices.
With its balance of classic styling and modern capability, the new 903 St II is more than just a pilot’s watch — it is a symbol of Sinn’s ongoing dedication to precision, functionality, and timeless design. Winning “Watch of the Year” affirms what collectors and professionals have long recognised: the 903 St II is not only built for the skies, but destined to remain an icon on the wrist for decades to come.
