In a collaboration with the French Air and Space Force, Yema have today launched two new models. Joining forces for the first time in 1970, Yema began their work with the French Air Force by supplying their Superman dive watches for use by Helicopter Rescue Divers special forces. Additional Superman models continued to be supplied thereafter, leading the model to be revered for its status as a unique military tool watch with multiple uses.

Yema today released the Flygraf Flieger FAF and Flygraf Bi-Compax FAF, which marks the latest chapter of this historic partnership built on crafting professional tool watches specifically designed to meet military standards for military use.
Inspired by Flieger Type A watches, the Flygraf Flieger FAF is a modern reinterpretation of the iconic military aviation watch model of years gone by. Equipped with the in-house YEMA 2000 calibre, the Flieger is 40% lighter and more resistant to shocks and corrosion thanks to its 40mm Grade 2 Titanium case. Boasting an ultra-readable Flieger Type A dial, big crown for easy manipulation even when wearing gloves and a high-quality 2.00mm double-dome sapphire crystal for increased resistance, the result is a timeless yet dynamic vintage look.

The Flygraf Bi-Compax FAF comes equipped with the reliable Seiko VK61 hybrid caliber that offers fluid sweeping and features a vertical bi-compax chronograph which simultaneously obtains both 60-second and 60-minute readings. Both models have a French Air Force caseback with the logo embossed by a hydraulic press.

The Flygraf Flieger FAF will retail for $990 USD and the Flygraf Bi-Compax FAF will be priced at $429 USD. Each new model comes on a specially designed canvas strap which was manufactured in Franche-Comté and features the logo of the French Air Force on the underside of its leather coating for enhanced wearer comfort.
