Globetrotters welcome! Fly high and track 24 time zones simultaneously with the new C65 GMT Worldtimer from Christopher Ward.
Christopher Ward is known for its high-quality timepieces that elegantly combine British born style and innovation with Swiss watchmaking skills. Well, the team at Christopher Ward have outdone themselves with their latest timepiece - the NEW C65 GMT Worldtimer.
With this latest release from Christopher Ward, watch enthusiasts can fly high and track 24 time zones simultaneously or see three time zones at a glance using its worldtimer marker.
If you’re someone who travels a lot, you’ll know how important it is to keep tabs on different time zones. While doing the maths in your head isn’t that difficult – jet lag permitting – staying synced with different time zones across the world isn’t the easiest of tasks. Well, now you can now be well informed by simply glancing at your wrist.
Its bi-directional worldtimer bezel is constructed from stainless steel and printed with 24 separate international cities – so by simply aligning your location with your current time you can automatically track other time zones around the world too. Powered by a Swiss-made Sellita SW330 movement, the watch also has a fourth GMT hand which can be set to track a different time zone read against a 24-hour ring at the edge of the dial.
What’s more, the NEW C65 GMT Worldtimer introduces three ‘firsts’ from Christopher Ward:
- It’s the brand’s first watch ever to combine GMT and worldtimer functionality;
- it’s the first time a worldtimer complication has been introduced to the C65 Trident collection;
- and it’s the first time it’s been introduced in an all new black and yellow colour scheme.
In keeping with the slim elegance of 60s-era dive watches – as celebrated by the C65 Trident Collection – the NEW C65 GMT Worldtimer introduces a tool watch that is as stylish as it is useful. This is thanks to the new black and yellow aesthetic with printed indexes, slim ‘light-catcher’ case and vintage inspired ‘glass box’ crystal – reminiscent of 60s dive watch design – all of which are underpinned by a screw-down crown, a new technical inclusion to maintain water-resistance during a dive.

Tim Vaux gave us his thoughts on the new release:
"There’s a reason why Christopher Ward is adored by many watch collectors around the world; this watch epitomises why. The C65 Trident range offers incredible value for money. The watches are well built, considered and so wearable. I know this because i'm currently wearing one as I write this (review soon!) The inclusion of a GMT complication and the use of a wordtimer bezel makes total sense here and the execution is modern, with just the right amount of colour present to balance out the dial. And for less than £1,000? How can we argue with that?"
