Toughness to battle the Goliaths.

Limited to 1,000 pieces each, Ball have unveiled their Pioneer II series, now available for pre-order until March 6th 2024 at a limited-time price.

Built to ride with you through any adventure, the Pioneer models are ready to challenge all terrains and extremes. Encased in an ultra-tough 904L stainless steel, the Engineer M Pioneer runs on Chronometer Manufacture Caliber RRM7309-C with precision set to withstand magnetic fields to 1,000 Gauss.

Crafted to be as sleek as it is functional, each model in the range maintains maximum legibility in all conditions. Micro gas tubes have been engineered to give off an unrivalled glow that are set to take the wearer seamlessly from day to night. With absolutely no charging required, the miniature tubes are coated with phosphor powder and then filled with tritium gas. The tritium then emits electrons which cause the coating to give off a cold light which shines brightly, revealing the time in even the deepest, darkest nights. The luminosity is available in a classic colorway as standard but also comes in a multi-coloured rainbow variation with the metal indexes coated in matching colours, for those who appreciate fun as much as they do reliability.

The 904L stainless steel used features extra amounts of chromium, molybdenum, nickel and copper to ensure the extremely robust case can appropriately house the COSC certified automatic caliber, come rain or come shine. Its extraordinary properties also enable advanced resistance to corrosion, rust and acids whilst still retaining a luxury aesthetic.

Built in the Ball lab, the Chronometer Manufacture Caliber RRM7309-C movement and its precision go beyond the limits of mechanical performance with an impressive 80-hour power reserve that maintains a frequency of 28,8000 beats per hour (4 Hz). Carrying on the legacy pioneered by the brand’s founder, Webb C. Ball, the movement’s standards exceed modern COSC testing criteria and have a remarkable accuracy range of -2/+4 seconds per day.

Housing a special mu-metal shield, the Engineer M Pioneer can achieve anti-magnetic protection to an intensity of 1,000 Gauss. This extreme level of resistance ensures that every component of the Engineer M Pioneer remains perfectly intact and ultra-precise, no matter the environment it is used in.

The Pioneer II models come in three case sizes: 43mm, 40mm and 36mm. Each model is equipped to offer comfort and strength for all adventurers whilst ensuring a stylish finish with dials colours of blue and black enamel or ice blue sunray. An easily customisable timepiece, with multiple case sizes, dial colours, optional personalised engraving service and micro gas tube options, Ball really has something on offer for everyone with the Pioneer II collection.
