Tissot, in collaboration with Wilson and the WNBA (Women’s National Basketball Association), have today released the first Official Watch of the WNBA. To commemorate the exponential growth of the women’s game, two limited-edition Tissot Seastar’s are set to become the first ever official watches in league history. A staggering mark of the cultural influence of the WNBA, the new references have been announced to basketball fans alongside the 2024 Draft, which took place April 15th and kicks off the 28th season of this progressive basketball league.
The Tissot Seastar Wilson® WNBA Powermatic 80 and Tissot Seastar Wilson® WNBA Quartz see the three household names, Tissot, Wilson and the WNBA, come together in creation of two 40mm limited-edition watches.

The first of its kind Tissot Seastar Wilson® models, naturally, encompass special features destined for the wrists of basketball players and enthusiastic fans alike. Featuring white and orange detailing, recognised internationally as the colours of the game, the new editions are offered on interchangeable orange and white straps which have been produced using Wilson’s EVO-NXT Premium Composite Material. Ensuring high-comfort, versatility and usability, the straps can be simply clipped out and clipped in, without the need for tools. In a nod to Tissot, the official timekeeper of the NBA and WNBA shot clocks, the rotating bezels highlight the 24-second basketball shot clock time. The theming continues throughout the design onto the caseback where each of the brands are featured, as well as a WNBA Wilson® basketball.
Proudly inducted into the Seastar collection, the collaboration offers the best of both worlds with a Powermatic 80 Movement as well as a high-quality Swiss Made quartz movement. The Powermatic edition is identifiable by its black circular brushed dial and mineral bezel, the stark opposite of its quartz counterpart which appears in white. Both have received a generous helping of Super-LumiNova® on the hands and hour markers and are water resistant up to 30 bar (300 meters/1,000 feet).
