This watch is classed as “Nearly New”, which means that it is either a customer return or a former photo sample. As such it could have very minor signs of wear and may not be supplied with the original box. However, it has still been checked to ensure that it is running perfectly, and it has a 6 month warranty.
The Todaro is a bold addition to NTH’s Sub dive watch collection. The dial is an unusual departure from classic dive watch design, with legible bold white print and oversized numbers at the 12, 4, and 8 o’clock positions. The monochrome dial is accented with a yellow seconds hand and minute markers, that add a playful splash of colour to the watch.
The 40mm steel case is just 11.5mm thick, which is exceptionally thin for a dive watch offering 300m water resistance. Naturally the watch has a double-domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, and boasts a healthy application of C3 Super-LumiNova.
The 120-click unidirectional bezel uses a steel insert to ensure longevity. Whereas ceramic can crack on impact, and aluminium is vulnerable to scratches, the steel will be able to stand up to knocks and scrapes better than either material.
The watch uses an automatic Miyota 9015 (with date) or 90S5 (no date) movement. This 24 jewel movement beats at 28,800 bph and has a 42-hour power reserve. The movements in NTH Subs are regulated to within -5/+15 seconds per day.
About The Brand
NTH were founded in 2016 by Chris Vail, a long-time member of the WatchUSeek forum community. Before NTH Chris ran another brand called Lew & Huey, which he founded in 2012, so he knows a thing or two about how to make a good watch.
NTH watches focus on putting a twist on classic dive watch designs, at an affordable price, without sacrificing quality. The brand’s watches are very well proportioned and extremely wearable. They’re also true tool watches, being powered by reliable Japanese movements and having great water-resistance.
