The wait is finally over, have the speculations been correct, or are we to be underwhelmed again? Of course, Tudor has delivered in spades, as we knew they would, so let’s get into what’s new.
Tudor Releases 2025
Tudor Black Bay 68
TUDOR’s latest drop signals a new direction, less nostalgia, more boldness. The Black Bay 68 arrives as a confident, contemporary dive watch, packed with substance and stripped of unnecessary vintage callbacks.
Housed in a newly developed 43mm case, the Black Bay 68 offers presence without unnecessary bulk. Despite the size increase, the watch maintains a sleek profile and holds steady with a 200-metre water resistance rating.
At the heart of the watch beats the Calibre MT5601-U, now METAS-certified, an industry gold standard. With 70 hours of power reserve, this chronometer-grade movement means business.
Visually, the 68 keeps things clean and crisp. Choose between two domed sunray dials: classic silver or deep TUDOR blue, both paired with a matte black aluminium bezel for a monochrome, minimalist punch. The iconic Snowflake hands, first seen in 1968, nod to the collection’s namesake year and anchor it in TUDOR's design legacy.
Completing the package is a refined three-link bracelet in Oyster style, fitted with TUDOR’s T-fit micro-adjustment clasp, allowing for effortless wear throughout the day.
The Black Bay 68 is a clear statement: TUDOR’s not just revisiting its past—it’s rewriting its future.
Tudor Black Bay 58
TUDOR’s latest Black Bay 58 may be officially dubbed Burgundy, but whether you call it dark red or deep wine, this release is far more than a new colour—it’s a tribute woven through decades of dive watch heritage. The design traces its lineage back to 1958, when TUDOR introduced the now-iconic “Big Crown” reference 7924, its first diver rated to 200 metres.
Reinterpreted in a slim, vintage-inspired 39mm case, this new Black Bay 58 echoes the proportions of that original while subtly incorporating details from an unreleased ‘90s prototype—the elusive ref. 79190—which paired a burgundy dial and bezel that never made it to production. Until now.
Inside, the watch receives a major technical upgrade: Master Chronometer certification from METAS, placing it among the most rigorously tested timepieces in terms of precision, magnetic resistance, and reliability.
Completing the modern package, TUDOR offers three versatile strap options—a 3-link bracelet, a refined 5-link alternative, and a durable rubber strap—all fitted with the brand’s T-fit clasp for effortless micro-adjustments on the go.
Tudor Pelagos Ultra
When TUDOR says serious dive watch, they mean it—and the new Pelagos Ultra leaves no room for doubt. Even the name sets the tone: this isn’t just a revision; it’s a complete evolution.
The case has been scaled up to 43mm and crafted from lightweight yet incredibly strong Grade 5 titanium, ensuring both presence and practicality on the wrist. Water resistance? It’s been doubled—from the Pelagos’ already-impressive 500m to a full 1000 metres (3280 feet). A compact helium escape valve is neatly integrated into the left case flank, a nod to the needs of saturation divers.
Inside, you’ll find the Calibre MT5612-U, now Master Chronometer-certified by METAS. That means it’s been tested to exacting standards for precision, anti-magnetism, and overall performance—reliability you can count on in the harshest conditions.
The matte black dial has been tweaked for maximum clarity, with enlarged markers and hands that improve legibility at depth. Lume has been seriously upgraded too, with a dual-luminescence setup: X1 Super-LumiNova and BGW9 create a vibrant play of green and blue under UV light. The hour markers, ceramic bezel insert, hour hand, and seconds hand tip glow in blue, while the minute hand and the bezel’s 12 o’clock pip shine in green—making it easy to distinguish key dive information at a glance.
Adding a subtle but premium touch, the Pelagos name is printed in light blue, a detail that elevates the dial without distracting from its crisp, utilitarian layout.
The bracelet has been refined but retains TUDOR’s spring-loaded auto-adjust clasp, now with a light blue visual indicator showing the adjustment range—a welcome addition for on-the-fly sizing over a wetsuit. The watch also ships with a rubber strap and a dive extension, completing the tool watch package.
Tudor Black Bay Pro
TUDOR adds a crisp new chapter to its GMT story with the Black Bay Pro Opaline—a refined evolution of its robust travel companion. While the watch retains the original’s sturdy 39mm steel case, fixed 24-hour bezel, and in-house dual-time movement, the big update here is visual: a clean, high-contrast opaline dial that enhances clarity and legibility across any environment.
The bold black ceramic hour markers and matching outlines on the Snowflake hands make reading the time effortless, whether you're navigating a dimly lit cave or chasing daylight across time zones. The vibrant yellow GMT hand circles the dial every 24 hours, tracking reference time against the bezel, while the shorter Snowflake hand sets local time in hour jumps—both forward and backward. A clever date mechanism adjusts automatically as you cross midnight in either direction.
At its core is the COSC-certified MT5652 calibre, offering 70 hours of power reserve, a silicon balance spring, and the rugged dependability TUDOR is known for.
Three strap options round out the package: a yellow-striped fabric strap, a steel bracelet with faux rivets, and a rubber-leather hybrid with folding clasp. The Black Bay Pro Opaline is clarity, functionality, and versatility in one sleek GMT.
Tudor Black Bay Chrono
In celebrating half a century of chronograph-making, TUDOR has redefined its Black Bay Chrono, merging vintage motorsport vibes with modern-day refinement. The latest version stays true to its roots but arrives with updated details that set it apart.
The stainless steel case, now subtly reworked, maintains a 41mm diameter but benefits from a sleeker profile—thanks to a lowered sapphire crystal and cleverly repositioned movement. This updated silhouette preserves the rugged charm of the Black Bay while offering a more refined wrist presence.
The chronograph dial comes in two striking colourways: matte black with opaline sub-dials, or opaline with matte black sub-dials. These recessed counters, styled for maximum legibility, nod to the classic "panda" and "reverse panda" layouts that defined early racing chronographs. The 45-minute counter sits at 3 o'clock, balanced by a date window at 6, maintaining symmetry and functionality.
Bringing further versatility to the table, the Black Bay Chrono is now available with a choice of either a three-link Oyster-style bracelet or a more intricate five-link configuration—both equipped with TUDOR’s user-friendly T-fit rapid adjustment clasp for easy resizing on the go.
The steel pushers—inspired by TUDOR’s earliest chronographs—add a vintage touch, while a fixed tachymeter bezel in black anodised aluminium ties the whole design together. This feature lends a subtle motorsport edge and serves as a functional tool for measuring speed over distance.
Powering the watch is the MT5813 movement, a COSC-certified chronograph calibre built on a solid foundation of performance and reliability, complete with column wheel and vertical clutch mechanisms.
