Rolex Releases 2025
Rolex Land Dweller
Rolex has finally silenced critics who say they never innovate with the launch of the Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller—a timepiece that bridges heritage and cutting-edge watchmaking.
Offered in 36mm and 40mm sizes, the Land-Dweller embodies Rolex’s commitment to precision and durability. It boasts 32 patent applications, including 18 innovations unique to this model—16 of which refine its movement. At its core is the all-new Caliber 7135, Rolex’s first high-frequency mechanical movement, driven by the revolutionary Dynapulse escapement, which employs dual silicon wheels for optimized efficiency.
The case takes inspiration from the legendary Ref. 1530 and the Oysterquartz models of the 1970s but is 20% thinner than a Datejust. This sleek design integrates seamlessly with the newly developed Flat Jubilee bracelet, which merges polished and satin-brushed finishes for a refined, sculptural effect. Beveled edges on the outer bracelet links and case create a continuous shimmer as they catch the light.
Rolex offers three distinct interpretations:
- A 40mm white Rolesor (Oystersteel and white gold) edition, featuring a fluted bezel and a white honeycomb-textured dial.
- A 36mm solid 18k Everose gold version, adorned with ten baguette-cut diamond hour markers and a bezel set with 44 trapeze-cut diamonds.
- A 40mm platinum model, distinguished by its fluted bezel and ice-blue honeycomb dial—an exclusive color for Rolex’s platinum watches.
With its blend of innovation, engineering mastery, and aesthetic refinement, the Land-Dweller cements Rolex’s legacy as the master of modern watchmaking.
Rolex GMT-Master II
Rolex breaks new ground with its first-ever high-tech ceramic dial, making a bold debut on the latest GMT-Master II. This edition not only features a striking green Cerachrom dial but also relocates the winding crown to the left side of the case, with the date window positioned at 9 o’clock. Adding to its exclusivity, Rolex presents this model in 18k white gold for the first time.
The dial is crafted using a process similar to natural stone dials, with a ceramic disc set onto a brass base. The deep green hue matches the lower half of the bi-color green and black Cerachrom bezel, ensuring seamless tonal consistency across all lighting conditions. This harmony is achieved by utilizing the same ceramic material for both the dial and bezel insert, reinforcing Rolex’s meticulous attention to detail.
Powering the GMT-Master II is the cutting-edge Caliber 3285, a movement designed for precision and functionality. It delivers a 24-hour display, an additional time zone, and a date function while maintaining Rolex’s signature reliability. Like all modern Rolex timepieces, this model meets the Superlative Chronometer standard, ensuring top-tier accuracy and durability.
Completing the watch is the robust Oyster bracelet, equipped with an Oysterlock safety clasp for a secure fit. The combination of ceramic innovation, precious metal construction, and GMT functionality makes this release a milestone in Rolex’s history, reaffirming its place at the forefront of contemporary watchmaking.
Rolex Oyster Perpetual
With a trio of new softer colours, the Oyster Perpetual, adds lavender, beige and pistachio to its existing line-up. The dials come this time with a matt finish, which has not been seen before.
Rolex introduces a fresh palette of matte lacquer dials across the Oyster Perpetual collection, each paired with subtle refinements. The 28mm model debuts in a soft lavender hue, while the 36mm variant sports a warm beige dial. Meanwhile, the 41mm edition receives a striking pistachio finish, along with an updated Oyster case and a more streamlined clasp, enhancing both aesthetics and wearability.
Beneath the surface, the Oyster Perpetual 28 houses the advanced Caliber 2232, while the 36mm and 41mm models are driven by Caliber 3230. These state-of-the-art movements power essential timekeeping functions—hours, minutes, and seconds—delivering precision and reliability in line with Rolex’s watchmaking excellence.
As with all Rolex timepieces, these new iterations uphold the Superlative Chronometer certification, ensuring outstanding accuracy and performance for everyday wear.
Rolex 1908
Rolex introduces a brand-new bracelet, the Settimo, designed exclusively for the Perpetual 1908 and making its debut on an 18k yellow gold edition with a crisp white dial.
This exquisitely crafted bracelet features seven rows of minuscule, fully polished links, creating a dazzling play of light. Inspired by vintage jewelry-style bracelets once adorning sophisticated timepieces, its fluid design embodies the spirit of the Perpetual collection—a homage to classical watchmaking. A concealed clasp ensures a seamless, uninterrupted aesthetic.
At the heart of the 1908 beats the cutting-edge Caliber 7140, powering hours, minutes, and small seconds with precision. This movement showcases Rolex Côtes de Genève finishing on its bridges, while its skeletonized oscillating weight adds a refined mechanical touch.
Rolex Datejust
Rolex introduces a striking new take on the Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31, crafted in 18k yellow gold and featuring a captivating red gradient dial.
Marking the first time this bold hue has appeared in the brand’s ombré dial lineup, the design transitions seamlessly from a vivid centre to a deep black outer edge. Achieved through an advanced PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) technique, this effect was originally exclusive to the Day-Date collection.
This edition is further enhanced by ten diamond-set hour markers and a bezel adorned with 46 brilliant-cut diamonds. Completing the look, the watch is paired with the signature President bracelet, featuring a concealed clasp for a seamless aesthetic.
Powering the timepiece is the state-of-the-art Caliber 2236, delivering precise timekeeping and a date function while upholding Rolex’s exacting standards of watchmaking excellence.
New Rolex Dials
Deeply rooted in the world of motorsports and precision timing, the Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona is adorned with a striking turquoise lacquer dial, accentuated by bold black subdials. Crafted from 18k yellow gold, the watch is topped with a sleek black ceramic bezel, featuring the iconic tachymeter scale that defines its racing heritage. It is secured on a high-performance elastomer strap, complete with a safety clasp for added security.
The Oyster Perpetual GMT Master II watch debuts a mesmerising dial fashioned from tiger iron. An extraordinary natural stone blending tiger’s eye, red jasper, and hematite for a distinctive, layered effect. Encased in 18k Everose gold, the timepiece is complemented by a dual-tone ceramic bezel in deep brown and black, and is paired with a classic metal bracelet equipped with a robust locking clasp.
The Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller, this sophisticated dual-time watch now arrives in an opulent 18k yellow gold variant, featuring a luminous sunray-finished dial in a vivid shade of green. Perfectly complementing the warm tones of the case, the piece is fitted with an elegant five-link bracelet in matching precious metal, secured with a refined folding clasp.
