The COSC Certified 1521 models are the cornerstone of the 1521 Collection. Not only is their mechanical performance outstanding, but their look is equally extraordinary. They are in fact the first steel models to feature a case with a bi-lux finish, i.e. satin-finished with polished bevels for maximum elegance.
Squale COSC models come in a box set that includes a waterproof case, a COSC certificate detailing the results of the tests carried out by the organization, a unique Squale identification certificate issued for each individual watch, and an additional vegetable-tanned leather strap. This particular method of tanning increases the water resistance of the strap and makes it more comfortable to wear.
The Squale 1251 COSC Blue Dial Divers Watch, showcases a brushed case with polished bevels measuring 42mm. With its certified water resistance of up to 500 meters, this watch excels in versatility and performance.
To make the 1521 COSC watches truly reliable instruments in all underwater adventures, the technical characteristics are designed to ensure maximum reliability in all situations. The bezel, equipped with indicators made in SuperLuminova, and the dial with applied indexes, guarantee high legibility even in the most extreme diving conditions where it becomes important to keep track of every single minute.
Why this watch?
About The Brand
Squale has been manufacturing professional dive watches since 1959. Back then dive watches were just emerging as a new category of tool watch, and Squale quickly established itself as a quality manufacturer of these crucial pieces of equipment.
As a result, Squale watches were worn by many record-breaking divers. In 1967 Enzo Maiorca achieved an immersion record using a Squale Master. And, in 1970 Jacques Mayol set a historic immersion record in Japan, reaching a depth of 76 meters wearing a Squale watch on his wrist.
Today Squale continues to produce many models of dive watches. All of which are professional tools able to withstand the rigours of life in the ocean.
